Integration Details
Dapt integrates with RUN Powered by ADP (RUN) to support certified payroll processing and reporting. Before payroll, Dapt processes approved time and job data, identifies certified payroll jobs, looks up the applicable prevailing wage by job, location, and classification, and compares it to the employee's standard rate in RUN. The higher of the two rates is applied before payroll processes.
Payroll runs in RUN with the correct rate applied. After payroll, Dapt reads completed payroll results and generates certified payroll reports based on actual earnings, deductions, and hours by job and classification.
Dapt works with the time-tracking system that fits your business — QuickBooks Time and other supported time-tracking systems — as the source of approved time and job data.

Certified Payroll Rate Logic
Paying the correct rate on a prevailing wage job is not a single lookup. The required rate depends on the job, its location, and the work classification each employee actually performed — and it has two parts: a base rate and a fringe obligation that shifts depending on the benefits you already provide. Dapt resolves all of this for every employee, every pay period, before payroll is submitted.
Dapt's solution includes:
- Job-Based Detection: Identifies when time is recorded against certified payroll projects.
- Prevailing Wage Lookup: Retrieves the applicable wage determination, including base rate and fringe requirement, by job, location, and work classification.
- Fringe Adjustment: Accounts for employer-paid benefits and adjusts the required fringe obligation accordingly, so the compliant rate reflects what is actually owed.
- Rate Comparison: Compares the prevailing wage rate to the employee's standard rate in RUN. Whichever is higher is applied. Employees are always paid the better of the two.
- Payroll Application: Applies the compliant rate directly within RUN payroll processing before the payroll run is submitted.
Optional Add-Ons
You can choose to add job costing and labor allocation integrations, or custom exports and compliance reporting for needs such as workers' compensation and grant reporting.
